It's been a very busy time. I raced off to Santiago de Compostela at a day's notice to stand in for an ailing colleague in Vivaldi's Juditha Triumphans for Modo Antiquo, which was great as I just love singing Vagaus. It's a pretty dramatic role and being a light and squeaky, I rarely get the chance, but I love it. It was great to see all the Italian colleagues too, and to practise my fading Spanish and even some Catalan. Back home, then on to Eton to teach on my first choral course here. I'm really enjoying it, both the other staff and the kids. It is wonderful to be here with Spouse too though miss the winks.
I shall be glad to get home next week though I'd appreciate it if someone else could do all my accounts. Thanks!
