Home

So, so good to be at home and just managing a normal routine for a while. After the rigours of the end of last year, and the endless viruses and limping through a few concerts with less than a whole voice, I am finally beginning to feel fit and ready to work again. I am singing this weekend, but then have lots of time off to just stay at home with spouse and winks. We have had a lovely start to the year, though spouse not very well really and has finally succumbed and taken a few days off work to try and overcome this persistent virus that he has. Winks on great form and our lovely Petra is here with us as au-pair, though the most over-qualified au-pair I have ever seen! She makes a great housemate and a lovely companion and we will trade singing lessons with Czech lessons.

I am aiming to do the Parker 100 this term (run 100 miles in the ten week term) however we've got off to a bad start as Jo was ill this week so we're a week behind already!

Lovely trip to Dovedale with the winks yesterday. Lunch at the George in Alstonefield. Top pub. Effie loved walking along the river.

Happy happy happy with the winks. They are just so much fun at the moment.
