Prague

Still reading Philip Roth's 'The Plot Against America'. I have to say it's a brilliantly written book. The point where fact and fiction depart from each other is so subtle that as a 'what if' situation it's completely convincing. The extracts from speeches by Lindbergh etc. are factual references which is rather shocking.
Otherwise, it's a rainy day and I'm thinking of little other than my family. Longing to be home with them. I spoke to the winks today and J was very happy to listen, though still doesn't say anything on the phone. E had a few things to say, and had a lovely day at school. Mommom has gone home now so is no longer there, but nanny is there with Spouse, so they'll be fine. They have been opening their daily boxes and E is well aware that there are very few left now, so I'll be home.
I shall trot up the hill to bed now. I will have to get a guide book tomorrw as I really haven't a clue what I'm looking at.
